As of February 2026, the Clan MacDubhsith Council of Presidents has not identified a suitable candidate to put forward to a Family Convention for the position of Clan Commander. This information has been conveyed to Carrick Pursuivant, the Clan’s Supervising Officer at the court of the Lord Lyon. As a result, the Council and Carrick concur that the Family Convention of the Clan MacDubhsith planned for May, 2026 in Scotland should be postponed.
